Nothing in particular!!

Well its Wednesday afternoon and bored without my mate Shell to talk to at work!! Anyway have booked a few days away in Keswick. Will be taking the trailer tent so i hope the weather is nice and hopefully a bit warmer!! Sue will be going swimming and Betty(our beautiful Bedlington) and I will be mooching around Keswick to see if there are any nice things for us. Sure there will be some nice doggy treats!! Have to spoil her as we are all still missing our wonderful boy Huey who had to be put to sleep a month ago (bless you Huey xx). Hoping this summer is going to be lovely so we can get away more and I can get back to horse riding and Shell and I are going out bike riding (aren't we????????????????) - wonde how often we will have a break. Who is going to carry the flask and packed lunch?????? You know we will have to have a tea and chat break!! Well that is all for now. I am off to remove the practice manager's door so i do not have to hear it slam for the 100th millionth time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beer Festival

Well I am looking forward to the weekend as we are going to the beer festival on Saturday. It will be great with live bands and a whole range of beers to taste!! I can feel a headache coming on on Sunday. Think I will cook my Sunday dinner on Saturday so all I have to do is warm it up!!

Soap!!

Well I am off out this afternoon with my mate Shell to get bits and pieces so we can make our own bars of soap. We went on a course on Saturday and now are really excited at making our first batch which we will be doing on Friday so watch this space! Tired today as I couldn't sleep last night for some reason. Its so cold so I think I will light the coal fire tonight and no doubt fall asleep in front of it once I have got past the dogs that is, the fire hoggers!

My boy and girl. They are totally spoilt which is just what they deserve. They are such good natured dogs and so faithful especially when there is a big dish of stew waiting for them! I make them big pans of stew (beef, carrots, turnip, a few potatoes, lentils, green beans and tinned tomatoes)they love it. I also feed them fish a few times a week with rice. They do still have biscuits but I have to mix it in with the stew or they refuse to eat them. One of their other favourites are sardines in tomato sauce they love it but love to wipe their faces on the furniture even more if they get the chance !

Well I haven't a clue what i am doing on here!! I have tried to change the background but that hasn't worked. At least i have managed to upload this photo of Crantock Beach in Cornwall where I spent my childhood holidays. Beautiful place and would love to go back there one day for a nice long holiday.

Thought I had better get on here and put something on seen as how it has been a few months. Had a great christmas and new year. Looking forward to holidays and going away in our new trailer tent. Will be uploading some more pictures soon!
